The Hood Family
Lookout Lodge was built in the 1960s by Canadian author Hugh Hood OC (1929-2000) and his wife, visual artist Noreen Mallory. They spent about three months of every year at the cottage, with their four children, and it inspired numerous creative works by the couple, including this image of a flying heron by Mallory.
